You are invited to submit manuscripts for the next issue of the Revue de L’Afrique des Idées. This call is intended for both researchers and professionals with specific fields of expertise. Manuscripts will be published as Policy Briefs of 7.000 words (+/- 1000) dealing with topics regarding Africa. For this next Edition, La Revue will be published under the theme: “The Industrial Revolution in the 21st Century: Africa in the Race to the Digital Economy“. Thus, all works that can contribute concretely to the current debate from different perspectives such as political, economic, social, cultural, climatic, etc. on this topic will be qualified to pass our rigorous selection process. The objective is to have exhaustive analyses involving different persepectives on the subject.
The Review of L’Afrique des Idées aims at making concrete recommendations, based on an exhaustive and balanced analysis, to public decision-makers. It will be disseminated to institutions (parliaments, ministries and state agencies), organisms and development key actors in Africa and elsewhere. Therefore, a policy brief should not include any mathematical equations, theoretical or statistical models, unless they are necessary for supporting the analysis. Simple tables and figures are preferred.
You are invited to submit an abstract of 500 words to firstname.lastname@example.org before August 10th, 2018. Please join a resume (and your LinkedIn profile if you have one) and specify four key words. After selection, you will be invited to submit a draft that will be reviewed by anonymous referees. You can also directly submit a 7.000 words (+/- 1000) draft in English or French. You will receive a guide for authors if your proposal is accepted.
